Merry Christmas! It’s been a FABULOUS year (although very overwhelming at times ) and I’ve enjoyed working with EVERY SINGLE ONE of my clients which seem to become fast friends – I LOVE my job and am SO thankful and blessed by all of you! Merry Christmas!!!!

So today a new member of the family entered the world, our brand new nephew, Owen Jeffery!!!! He was born this afternoon at 2:39pm weighing in at 8 pounds 6 ounces and he is 21 inches tall!!!! We’re so excited for their growing family – he’s gorgeous with a full head of hair and looks like big brother Tyler and daddy !!!!!! Here is a few I took this afternoon at the hospital – it was definitely interesting shooting when I just had shoulder surgery on Monday and I think I’ll be on ice all night….. but I don’t think it will ever be physically possible for me NOT to take a picture !!!!! He is welcomed by big sisters Maddie and Grace and big brother Tyler!!!! We love you Owen!!!! Happy Birthday!

I know you’re probably thinking “holy cow” she’s finally blogging – well I know that’s what I’m thinking, I am having shoulder surgery on Monday and need to finish one more wedding and 7 sessions before then – so READY-SET-GO up til 3:00 every night and up at 7:00, I’ll be able to rest next week right !!!
The fact is blogging takes A LOT of time for me and time is just not what I have a lot of, if you know where I can find more let me know ! However, I do think everyone deserves some blog love – I love sharing stories of wedding days, senior portraits, family sessions on the blog – I actually think I’m going to hire someone to do it for me because it is just something that’s on the ‘to-do’ list everyday and ultimately gets bumped off because of the other zillion things that need to be done in the day – okay – enough said…..if you want to be my blogger let me know – you need to be creative and like to write and know at least a little bit on how to blog or add pics,etc – yes you’ll be paid !
So meet Brenna & Brian – they are both from SUPER DUPER families that love to have fun! I love October weddings and they had a perfect October day – October was absolutely fantastic this year! Keepin’ it short and sweet – here are a few from their day!!! Congrats Brenna & Brian – love you guys !

So I haven’t blogged AT ALL for the entire month of July, August or September – not gonna lie – I actually forgot how to because it’s been too long, how sad is that – so I have to apologize to my blog followers that have been asking me what’s going on! It’s definitely not because I haven’t had anything to blog about, actually it’s the complete opposite – I have been WAY too busy at overbooking myself along with photographing weddings, seniors, families, and then there’s life with my husband and our 3 children and the crazy schedule that fills up our calendar every month, seriously if you saw our calendar, you might cry…. I did …… there is just too many good looking clients out there which makes it hard for me to fit everyone on the blog! Posting on facebook replaced blogging for 3 months, but I’m back and ready to rock the blog again……at least tonight I am !

Meet Kate and Brett – I love this couple – here is a sneak peak from their wedding in September – it was awesome, definitely in my top 10 of favorite weddings that I have shot! Brett and Kate’s attention to detail and style is superb! Kate MADE all of her girls jewelry….seriously Kate – you rock! She’s also a fellow shoe lover – check out her YELLOWS!!!!! They really planned their wedding day out perfectly so there was plenty of time to photograph – love that when that happens!!! A big thank you to Carrie who 2nd shot with me and to the Stella Event Design Planners who helped out!

Meet Matt and Taylor!
They had their wedding a couple of weekends ago in Grand Rapids, it was an absolutely beautiful day! They have such amazing friends and family that love them like crazy!
I need to get this blog posted now because Taylor is soooo excited to see some and I promised that I would have them up tonight (I’m 27 minutes late), but it never fails when you’re trying to get something done quick – you always run into trouble, my blog won’t let me load anymore (not sure why) so I’m just going to get these up and upload a few more for you on another blog post Taylor and we’ll see if that works – Happy Tuesday!!!! A huge thank you to Melissa Gregersen – who 2nd shot for me (even pregnant and all – yay)!!!!!!!
